The Team Summer Throwdown is a wrap!  This was our biggest throwdown to date and some special thanks are in order to everyone that helped make it so successful.

There’s a huge amount of behind the scenes work and planning that goes into our events, and I have to thank the CrossFit Merge team of Marianoel and Brian for their tireless work and effort.

Thanks to Joseph, Vargas, and Loc for generously providing thirst quenching beer and barbecue for the event.  It was the perfect way to finish the event.    

It wouldn’t be a Merge Throwdown without awesome jams provided by DJ Andrew.  He puts a great deal of planning into the song selection and always makes sure the atmosphere is jumping with sweet tunes.

Big thanks to everyone that helped out on Saturday in setting all the equipment up to keep the event moving quickly.  Cooper was especially helpful and timely in prepping for the final workout.

Thanks to all the competitors for the great sportsmanship and max effort.  I’m particularly proud and thankful for the nearly 20 competitors we had that stepped up and threw down for the very first time!

12 minute AMRAP of:

8 dumbbell front squats

10 jumping pull-ups

8 push-ups
