Gymnastics vs Weightlifting

In CrossFit, we work both gymnastics (e.g. bodyweight movements like pull-ups, handstands, muscle-ups, etc.) and weightlifting (squats, deadlifts, snatches, clean and jerks, etc.)  But all things being equal, and of course all things are never equal, which do you find more impressive on a gut level?  Which one makes you say “Knights of Columbus, that was absolutely amazing!”?  A double body weight front squat, or a strict muscle-up, which seems harder?  A standing back flip, or a 200lb snatch, which would you rather have?

Okay, this isn’t as flashy, but don’t think that it’s at all easy.

Tuesday’s Workout

3 rounds for time of:

300 meter run

15 power snatches (75#/53# for women)

200 meter run

15 kettlebell swings (70#/53# for women)

100 meter run

15 toes to bar
