Here is the weight room of our Olympic athletes.


What do you see?  Lifting platforms, barbells, weights, plyometric boxes.  No weight machines, interesting…

Notice the exercise this guy is doing.  He’s pretty good at what he does.

Maybe there’s something to this weight training?  What do you think?

Thursday’s Skill:

Overhead squats (front squats for beginners)


Thursday’s WOD:

15 minute AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) of:

10 overhead squats (95#/63# for women)

10 burpee pull-ups
