Game Time!

And the Reebok 2012 CrossFit Games are in full effect!  As we all know, CrossFit prepares you for the unknown… well, that’s exactly what all the competitors were faced with.  A start to the competition 2 days sooner than expected and with nothing other than a triathlon and an obstacle course!

Intermediate Skill:

Back squat


Workout of the Day (WOD):

For time:

-20 back squats (225# for men/153# for women)
-40 toes to bar
-60 kettlebell swings (70# for men/53# for women)

Beginner Skill:

Push Presses


Workout of the Day (WOD):

10 minute AMRAP of:

-7 push presses (75# for men/53# for women)
-10 box jumps (24” for men/20” for women)

Power Hour

Part 1:

20 minutes to find a 1 rep max push press

Part 2:

12 Tabata rounds of max back squats (185# for men/115# for women) – Count the total reps.

    4 rounds of:

    60 seconds on, 30 seconds off:
    Max reps of wall ball shots (20/14)
    Chest to bar pull-ups
    Rowing for calories

    Rest 5 minutes, then 800 meter run for time.
