Schedule Changes for the CrossFit Games

Since the CrossFit Games are this weekend, we are going to have a modified schedule.

The Friday 6:30pm and 7:30pm are cancelled.  Instead there will be extended Open Gym hours on Friday evening from 5 to 7pm.

Saturday’s 11am and 12pm classes are cancelled.  The 9am and 10am classes are regularly scheduled.

Sunday’s 11am class is cancelled.  The 10am class is regularly scheduled.

We are only a few days away from all the action. Are you ready? Jason and Neal are.


Tuesday’s Skill:

4 rounds of run 400 meters.  Rest 90 seconds between runs.  Record the total time including the run.

Workout of the Day (WOD):

Intermediate

12 minute AMRAP of:

6 squat snatches (40# dumbbell for men/25# dumbbell for women) right arm

6 squat snatches left arm

24 double-unders

All Levels and Beginner

12 minute AMRAP of:

6 weight squats (45# bumper plate for men/25# bumper plate for women)

6 overhead lunges (same bumper plate)

24 double-unders

    Back squat 2-2-2-2-2-2

    For time:
    20 back squats (225/153)
    40 toes to bar
    60 kettlebell swings (70/53)

    Beginner

    Push Presses: 3-3-3-3-3

    10 minute AMRAP of:
    7 push presses (75/53)
    10 box jumps

    Power Hour

    Part 1:
    20 minutes to find a 1 rep max push press.

    Part 2:

    12 Tabata rounds of max back squats (185/115) Count the total reps.
