Have you ever tried explaining CrossFit to your friends? Does the conversation sound something like this?
You: CrossFit! It’s awesome! We lift weights, do squats, and then we’ll have to run 400 meters, or do pull-ups, and it’s really intense.
Your friend: So, it’s a boot camp? Right?
You: Not really, no. We rotate through these exercises, while being timed, and keep track of the workouts.
Your friend: Okay, like interval training. Yeah, I do that at 24 Hour Fitness. I do 3 sets of 10 reps on the preacher curl machine, then go right to 5 sets of 10 on the calf raise.
You: Yeah, that’s not CrossFit at all. I guess you just have to try it.
Well, now you can show your friends what it’s all about. We are going to have ‘Bring a Friend Day’ on March 22, 23, and 24. You read it correctly, for three days in a row, you can bring a friend in to any of the classes on those days.
Not just a single class on a single day, but all classes on March 22, 23, and 24 will be open for you to share CrossFit with your friends. How cool is that?
Mark you calendars, then wrangle up some buddies and get ready to show them what CrossFit is really all about.
Really, who wouldn’t want to get down with some CrossFit with all these cool kids?
Leaf, during the middle of his heavy squats, is wondering who he should invite to the Bring a Friend Days?
